Your Role

You will play a key role in planning, scheduling and ordering raw materials used in manufacturing to achieve and maintain KPI targets. You will ensure that job tasks in the section are properly delegated and attended to by the responsible associates within the team.

Main Responsibilities

  • Plan, schedule and order raw materials used in manufacturing to achieve and maintain performance indicators.
  • Resolve shortages through efficient scheduling to guarantee an appropriate level of inventory following corporate standards.
  • Ensure timely customer response managing realistic daily plans considering capacity and raw material availability.
  • Work under quality, safety and industrial hygiene standards and best practices.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Contribute to implement strategic planning aligned with business needs.
  • Evaluate workload and calendars to maintain balance in the department.
  • Achieve and maintain service level targets.
  • Manage obsolescence using tools for inventory risk assessment.
  • Provide mid-long term forecasts to procurement.
  • Produce daily, weekly and monthly status reports and distribute them.
  • Review customer orders for raw materials resale demands and create repack process orders.
  • Lead your team to ensure all tasks are performed and document performance providing ongoing feedback.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Foreign Trade or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the same area.
  • Expertise in enterprise resource planning and material requirements planning systems.
