Career Progression and Training



Hydrographic Survey Officers commence with Warfare Officer training, developing skillsets alongside course mates. They then specialize in hydrographic survey training, becoming qualified to lead hydrographic survey teams and provide essential operations support.

Requirements




  • Be a minimum of 17 years of age upon entry
  • Be free of any criminal convictions
  • Pass an Officer Selection Board
  • NCEA Level 2 certificate
  • Meet minimum entry fitness standards
  • Be medically fit for service
