Job Overview:

The Import/Export Operations Coordinator is responsible for managing the full cycle of import and export activities, ensuring seamless operational flow through effective administrative support.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate international shipments across key markets, including USA, China, Poland, Thailand, Korea, and Taiwan
  • Liaise with freight forwarding partners to optimize logistics and guarantee timely deliveries
  • Monitor ETA trackers and generate essential operational reports
  • Ensure compliance with import/export regulations, biosecurity, and quarantine requirements
  • Support sales and customer service teams with administrative tasks
  • Assist with logistics and administration for a remote mining and processing site, including occasional travel
  • Manage documentation related to sourcing finished products and distribution
  • Maintain accurate records and provide general admin support within a dynamic team environment
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of import/export regulations, biosecurity, and quarantine rules
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with Oracle is an asset
  • Experience managing full container loads and coordinating complex logistics
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and reports
  • Comfortable working independently with initiative and autonomy in a dynamic team setting
  • Flexible approach to working hours, including occasional after-hours calls with international partners
  • Ability to provide effective administrative support to sales, customer service, and remote site teams
  • Reliable home office setup and readiness to work in a hybrid environment with flexible attendance
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive, solution-focused mindset
