Job Title:

Job Description

A highly skilled tradesperson with electrical and mechanical knowledge of heavy vehicles is sought to work on servicing and repairing various trucks, trailers, and tankers from different industries. As a successful candidate, you will possess excellent problem-solving skills and be comfortable working in hot and cold conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Servicing and repairing fuel tanker trailers, trucks, and associated equipment
  • Performing ABC trailer servicing (A, B, and C services)
  • Installing 12v & 24v truck/trailer lighting and auxiliary power systems
  • Troubleshooting and fault-finding, replacing components
  • Running hydraulic lines and removing and refitting veins and standard pumping gear
Required Skills and Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

  • Wiring experience for 12V trailer change-out plugs
  • Ability to read technical drawings
  • Previous experience in vehicle maintenance
  • Comfortable with manual labor, standing, kneeling, crouching, and crawling, and working in varying temperatures
