About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and dedicated customer service professional to join our team at Yarra Trams. As an Authorised Officer, you will play a key role in providing a safe, modern, and friendly environment for our passengers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service by being approachable and knowledgeable towards our passengers.
  • Report all offences detected and submit relevant reports in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Assist in the security and preservation of Yarra Trams vehicles and property.
  • Contribute to the maximisation of fare compliance on Yarra Trams.
  • Successfully complete legislative assessments relative to the role.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Strong, proven customer service skills, ideally gained in a face-to-face, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong comprehension of the English Language to assist with completing legal statements.
  • Confidence and flexibility.
  • Ability to think and respond productively.
  • Ability to work in a close team environment and/or autonomously.
  • Willingness to work a variety of shifts and irregular hours, over a rotating 7-day week.
  • Competence in various computer software and proven experience with various Microsoft applications.
  • A high standard of personal presentation.
