Cardiac Nursing Career Opportunities

We are seeking Registered Nurses to join our Cardiac Novice Program at a reputable hospital. This program is designed to provide structured support and education for nurses new to cardiac care.

The Cardiac Novice Program aims to build foundational competence and confidence in managing cardiac patients through a combination of clinical experience, mentorship, and targeted learning opportunities.

This programme targets Registered and Enrolled Nurses who have at least 12 months of experience in hospital settings and have a particular interest in cardiac nursing (surgical & medical). Key features include comprehensive orientation, support from experienced cardiac clinical nurses and educators, ongoing professional development sessions, clinical skill-building tailored to novice-level learning, opportunities for reflection, case discussions, and peer support.

To succeed in this role, you will be passionate about pursuing a career in cardiac nursing, have at least 12 months Acute Nursing experience, eager to expand your clinical expertise, committed to delivering high-quality patient-centred care, able to work unsupervised, proficiently and in an organised manner during periods of high demand and activity, and commit to working within a collaborative respectful team environment.

  • AHPRA Registration with no restrictions
  • Ability to work all shifts over a 7-day roster
