Job Description:

SAS Cloud Technical Lead

This is a highly technical role that requires expertise in cloud computing, DevOps processes and tools, application migration programs, hyperscalers, and AI. As a Cloud Technical Lead, you will be responsible for delivering world-class SAS services to our customers.

You will work closely with customers, analysts, developers, and implementation team members to ensure the successful deployment of our hosted and remote managed SAS application environments.

The ideal candidate will have proven years of experience as a technical advisor, developing solutions and working with certain technologies such as cloud native development, hybrid/multi-cloud, DevOps processes and tools, application migration program, hyperscaler, RH, AI, open technologies etc.

In addition, the candidate should have demonstrated ability to work cross functionally and have familiarity with PaaS, XaaS and SaaS businesses, metrics, goals, challenges.

We are looking for a strong executive leadership and decision-making abilities, strong communication skills, ability to articulate and sell a vision internally and externally, and strong execution skills and the ability to drive action and accountability.

The selected candidate will also have extensive experience driving software solutions involving many stakeholders and delivering results on time with high quality.

The job involves leading teams to improve quality, efficiency, and automation around service delivery tasks, managing container-based applications deployed in cloud container services, and working directly with external customers and interface with other support teams and vendors.
