About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Motor Enthusiast Underwriter. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring our customers receive the right level of insurance protection to meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take incoming calls from new and existing customers to provide information and product knowledge
  • Identify the right level of insurance protection to meet customer requirements
  • Strive to make the complex simple while ensuring customer needs are met
  • Share your passion for motoring and provide a unique service to ensure customers can drive or ride forward with confidence

Training and Development

We offer 7 weeks of comprehensive, full-time onsite training to ensure you're fully equipped for success. Our training program includes hands-on experience and coaching to help you develop the skills and knowledge you need to excel in this role.

Requirements

  • Proven problem-solving skills with a talent for simplifying complex issues for customers

  • Eager to expand your knowledge and contribute ideas through innovative thinking
  • High technical proficiency with experience navigating multiple systems

Shift Options

We are currently recruiting for part-time positions with three shift options:

  • Option 1: Sat, Mon, Tues, Fri – 30 hours per week – SW 9am on Sat (fixed) and 8am-11am on weekdays
  • Option 2: Sat, Mon, Thurs, Fri – 30 hours per week – SW 9am on Sat (fixed) and 8am-11am on weekdays
  • Option 3: Sat, Mon, Fri – 22.5 hours per week – SW 9am on Sat (fixed) and 8am-11am on weekdays

Work from Home Requirements

As this role will be a combination of onsite attendance and work from home, you will need to be set up accordingly. You will be provided with a Suncorp laptop, but you must organise the following:

  • Home phone line or VOIP connection
  • Good quality internet connection, ergonomic set up including keyboard, mouse, dual screens, desk, chair, and a private space
