Position Overview

We are pleased to present a permanent role for an experienced Project Manager to become part of the ASC LOTE (Life of Type Extension) division in Osborne, SA. Reporting directly to the Deputy Project Director, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing extensive project activities across all stages of the project lifecycle. Your role will encompass supervising and coordinating a team of Project Engineers and Administrators to guarantee effective execution and support.

We seek candidates with proficiency in diverse areas, including Engineering Design, Implementation Planning, and Support System Implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee one or more project segments within the overall LOTE initiative
  • Develop and maintain foundational schedules
  • Manage budgets and costs, including Earned Value Management (EVM) and variance analysis/treatment
  • Conduct risk management
  • Facilitate reporting and communication
  • Hold line management responsibilities for up to 2 direct reports

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Diploma or higher qualifications in Project Management
  • A minimum of five years' experience in a complex project setting at an Assistant Project Manager level (or equivalent)
  • Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Possess practical knowledge of Scheduling, Earned Value Management, financial oversight, stakeholder engagement, and personnel management relevant to a complex project environment

Eligibility Criteria:

This position necessitates a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance. Your eligibility for this role is contingent upon obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
