Risk Management Leader

We're seeking a seasoned Risk Management Leader to join our vibrant team of technology risk professionals at ANZ. As a key member of the CRO – Technology & Data Risk function, you'll play a critical role in shaping our risk management strategy and ensuring the effective mitigation of technology risks.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert advice and guidance on technology risk management to senior stakeholders and risk partners.
- Conduct detailed oversight of key risks, controls, and environmental factors, using data analysis and insight.
- Build and foster strong relationships with colleagues and senior stakeholders to drive risk management maturity and a culture of risk awareness.
- Identify and recommend solutions to current and emerging operational threats to business areas.
- Perform targeted independent reviews of risk management practices and controls to determine maturity and areas for improvement.
We're looking for a highly experienced professional with a strong background in operational risk and/or compliance, with significant experience in risk management and compliance. You'll have a good understanding of banking processes and challenges, as well as detailed knowledge of Risk and Control Frameworks.
You'll also have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to derive insights using risk and operational data. Strong business and commercial acumen, negotiation, influencing, and conflict management skills are essential, as well as excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Tertiary qualifications, ideally with Professional and/or Post Graduate qualifications, are highly desirable. If you have a growth mindset and are passionate about risk management, we'd love to hear from you.
