Product Development Specialist

A dynamic and experienced product development specialist is sought to join a globally recognised brand, contributing technical expertise and creative vision to drive the company's success in contemporary fashion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage style development through all stages, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output.
  • Prepare and send accurate technical packs, adhering to brand standards.
  • Lead fit preparation, fittings, and collaborate with suppliers to provide comprehensive feedback.
  • Collaborate in workshops on fit, fabric, construction, and costings to optimise product performance.
  • Analyse trade reports to inform product development and improve product range consistency.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members.

Requirements:

  • 3–5 years' experience in product development or technical roles within womenswear.
  • Hands-on experience with fittings, spec creation, grading, and construction.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Excel (Style Arcade and G-Suite advantageous).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to manage changing priorities.
  • A problem-solving mindset with sharp attention to detail.
  • A related fashion, technical apparel, or pattern-making qualification (preferred but not essential with solid industry experience).
