Mental Health Occupational Therapist Position

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to fill a frontline role in supporting Veterans and their families navigate mental health challenges. The ideal candidate will have expertise in functional assessment, activity-based intervention, and trauma-informed care.
This position requires the ability to conduct comprehensive assessments, design and implement evidence-based treatment plans, and deliver one-on-one, group, and family-based interventions. Experience working with Veterans, their families, or defence-connected communities is highly valued.
Requirements- Degree-qualified Occupational Therapist with current AHPRA registration.
- Expertise in functional assessment, activity-based intervention, and trauma-informed care.
- Strong clinical reasoning, report writing, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment.
- Understanding of the unique psychosocial and functional challenges faced by Veterans and their families.
