Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare accurate documentation for truck drivers collecting cargo from our warehouse yard, utilizing our transport management system.
  • Coordinate incoming trucks to the yard via two-way radio communication, ensuring seamless logistics operations.
  • Operate the public weighbridge, accurately recording weights of trucks and other vehicles, maintaining compliance with industry standards.
  • Manage visitor access to the site, ensuring a secure and efficient experience.
  • Liaise with external drivers and the general public, providing exceptional customer service.
Requirements
  • Strong attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and precision.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, with experience in transport management systems an advantage.
