About the Role

As a Train Driver, you will be responsible for operating locomotives and ensuring safe and timely transportation of passengers and freight. This involves examining and certifying trains as ready for departure, adhering to strict safety standards and operational procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate locomotives and conduct shunting and marshalling tasks
  • Inspect trains and equipment to ensure they are in good working order
  • Maintain a high level of on-time running and punctuality
  • Prepare and conduct brake testing on locomotives to guarantee safety
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with colleagues and clients
