We are seeking an experienced Project Controller to join our Maritime Sustainment program at BAE Systems Australia.
This role will report to the Enterprise Performance Analyst and has the flexibility to be based in any location across Australia.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate the proper use of the company Earned Value Management (EVM) System to monitor and report on project cost, schedule progress, and risk status.
- Provide monthly reporting and analysis, maintaining consistency across projects, using Earned Value Management (EVM).
- Integrate Schedule Data into the Financial Reporting tool and prepare periodic reports and Dashboards.
- Establish project baselines for cost and schedule, maintaining detailed structures, including code setup and maintenance of Work Breakdown structure.
- Administer the change process to established Baselines and integrate changes into Financial Reporting.
- Assist in the planning of the Annual Work Plan for the Program.
- Use various tools like Open Plan, Primavera, Microsoft Project, and Cobra for data entry and assist the team in scheduling.
- Advanced MS Excel skills are essential.
- Analyze Contract Data and map to Program Work Breakdown Structure.
- Prepare Schedule Risk Analysis and contribute to the overall financial management of the Program.
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Commercial, or Project Management (advantageous).
- Previous experience in a similar role or equivalent.
- Core skillset in either Scheduling or Financial Management.
- Ability to interpret schedule and financial data and investigate variances from targets.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously under time constraints, solve problems, and make decisions.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to interact effectively with stakeholders, both internal and external to BAE Systems, to implement business requirements.
- Current or previously issued defence security clearance will be advantageous.
