Job Responsibilities:
As a Caring Youth Experience Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, fun, and rewarding experience of our participants during camps and programs.
• Proactively deescalate potential conflicts and behavioural triggers.
• Demonstrate excellent communication, negotiation, and liaison skills with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Availability for weekend and school holiday work.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Card or willingness to obtain prior to start date.
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
Desirable Qualifications:
• Current Driver's License.
• Health or Community Service Qualification.
• Experience supporting group activities or programs, particularly for individuals with disabilities.
Application Process:
Successful applicants will be invited to attend a group interview and then offered the role with times to attend volunteer shifts. Successful Support Workers in Training will begin shifts on September 27th.
• Job Type: Casual, Seasonal
• Pay: $31.00 - $55.00 per hour
• Overtime pay and penalty rates
• Bayswater, WA 6053: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
• First Aid Certification, Working with Children Check, and Driver Licence preferred
• Work Authorisation: Australia (required)
• Work Location: In person
