Job Title: CG Generalist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile CG Generalist to join our team at CG Spectrum Pty Ltd. As a CG Generalist, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including:

  • Liaising with internal teams and external partners to ensure the highest quality visual effects and 3D assets are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Collaborating with our academic and operations teams to develop and implement new 3D techniques and technologies.
  • Creating high-quality 3D assets and projects using industry-standard software, including Maya, Blender, and Unreal Engine.
  • Troubleshooting technical issues within projects and providing technical support to team members.
  • Guiding and mentoring junior team members to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Coordinating projects and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality results.

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of experience in a related field, such as animation, games, or visual effects.
  • Extensive knowledge of 3D software, including Maya, Blender, and Unreal Engine.
  • Experience in a lead or supervisory position is highly desirable.
  • A genuine passion for teaching and mentoring and a desire to help others develop their skills and knowledge.
