CG Generalist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile CG Generalist to join our team at CG Spectrum. As a CG Generalist, you will be responsible for creating high-quality CG assets and projects, collaborating with our academic and operations team, and ensuring our content meets industry expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with animation, games, and VFX studios to ensure our content is at the forefront of industry expectations.
  • Collaborate with our academic and operations team to bring the highest quality experience to our students and partners.
  • Create high-quality CG assets and projects.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues within projects.
  • Guide and mentor our students.
  • Coordinate projects.
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience in an animation, games, or VFX studio.
  • A broad range of CG skills, including modeling, rigging, animation, FX, lighting, and compositing, as well as experience with Unreal Engine.
  • Industry software proficiency, including Photoshop, Blender, Maya, Mari, ZBrush, Substance, Houdini, Arnold, VRay, Redshift, Octane, Nuke, and Unreal Engine.
  • Experience in a lead or supervisory position.
  • A genuine passion for helping others reach their potential.
