Our Biomedical Technology Services team is responsible for delivering comprehensive health technology support to Hospital and Health Services across Queensland.

Within this dynamic role, you will be required to:

  • Maintain, repair, install, commission, and provide technical support for various health technology equipment
  • Develop effective communication strategies to engage with stakeholders, including clinical staff, suppliers, providers, and managers
  • Collect, analyze, and present data using information systems and software
  • Demonstrate a commitment to quality management and continuous improvement principles

In order to excel in this position, you must possess: Essential Qualifications:

  • Associate Diploma or equivalent qualification in a relevant field such as Technology or Engineering
  • Relevant licenses, certifications, and accreditations for the specific discipline area
  • A valid C class driver's license for operating Queensland Health vehicles

You may also be expected to: Additional Requirements:

  • Undertake travel and overtime duties to ensure statewide services are provided
  • Participate in on-call, weekend, early, and late shift rosters as needed
  • Undergo vaccination against COVID-19 and other vaccine-preventable diseases
