Rehabilitation Technology Specialist

This role involves delivering expert rehabilitation technology solutions to support participants' recovery and independence.

The successful candidate will provide strategic advice and guidance to teams on rehabilitation technology best practices, ensuring high-quality services are delivered efficiently. They will also assess participant needs and provide options to maximise outcomes.

In collaboration with internal stakeholders, the Rehabilitation Technology Specialist will monitor and evaluate rehabilitation technology programs to ensure continuous improvement and quality of services. The specialist will lead the development and implementation of strategies, policies and resources to enhance rehabilitation technology outcomes for participants.

Liaising with external partners, the specialist will provide education and guidance about rehabilitation technology services, facilitating effective management of complaints and incidents.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Extensive knowledge of rehabilitation technology principles and practice relevant to participant needs
  • Demonstrated understanding of rehabilitation services, health and disability sectors
  • Exceptional interpersonal, collaboration and relationship-management skills
  • Demonstrated coaching, training and building capability skills
  • A proven track record in providing expert advice related to rehabilitation technology
  • Strong organisational and project management skills, with a collaborative approach
