We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and implementing sourcing and procurement strategies to support tenders and project delivery.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing new suppliers and contractors to enhance price, delivery, and quality. They will also collaborate with internal teams and external specialists to arrange technical specifications, scope of works, and performance requirements into procurement agreements.
Additionally, the Procurement Manager will support the Sales/Tendering Deal team and effectively manage obtaining proposals from suppliers and subcontractors to meet tender timeframes and key deadlines. They will prepare and maintain the procurement plan and equipment delivery schedule, leading and negotiating procurement agreements and contracts to secure products and services for the balance of plant.
The role requires strong communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to manage vendor selection and appointment in consultation with relevant stakeholders. The successful candidate will issue purchase orders and ensure that equipment deliveries and services meet project requirements.
Key responsibilities include coordinating with Fluence's Global Supply Chain and offshore suppliers to meet equipment delivery requirements, including specific shipping needs. The Procurement Manager will also work with Construction and Operational Services teams to manage local logistics concerning storage and movement of inventory, tools, and equipment between warehousing and site locations.
Requirements:
- Develop and implement sourcing and procurement strategies to support tenders and project delivery.
