Job Overview

We seek an experienced professional for a fixed-term contract based in Darwin. This role involves supporting financial operations, ensuring compliance, and focusing on departmental performance and financial excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete month-end and year-end closing journals and compile financial reports.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of bank statements and related financial reports.
  • Prepare quarterly GST submission and manage corporate tax compilation and submission.
  • Supervise the finance team, recruit, and develop staff, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Develop and deliver staff training and manage team performance.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Diploma in Accounting or Finance (minimum required).
  • At least 2 years' experience in a similar role within hospitality/finance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and accounting systems.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure.
