Project Financial Support Specialist

This role requires a skilled business partner who will provide high-quality project support to Project Managers to improve project management and financial tracking.

The ideal candidate will have sound knowledge of accounting principles and experience in project financial planning.

  • Support Project Managers with monitoring of actuals and accurate forecasting to ensure correct revenue position.

  • Review forecast cost at completion and variance to baseline cost of a portfolio of projects, discussing material changes with Project Managers and escalating to the commercial team as required.

  • Participate in project-related meetings around the status of project financials, articulating risks and opportunities.

  • Drive tactical responses to minimize working capital requirements.

  • Provide project accounting support to operations through the lifecycle of the project.

  • Provide advice regarding project setup process, including best practices for project WBS, contract line configuration, variation management.

  • Drive efficiency and process improvement through effective utilization of systems.

  • Manage Client billing.
