We are seeking an experienced Theatre Registered Nurse to join our team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be part of a multidisciplinary team providing exceptional care throughout patients' procedures.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Achieve optimal patient outcomes by following evidence-based practice guidelines.
  • Demonstrate exceptional clinical expertise and knowledge of procedures and patient management within the theatre complex.
  • Implement strategies to ensure quality and risk management are integrated into daily activities.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Maintain current knowledge and skills through continued professional development.
  • Provide education and training assistance to other staff as needed.
Requirements
  • Current registration with no restrictions with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia - AHPRA.
  • Minimum two years' experience as a Perioperative Scrub/Scout Registered Nurse.
  • Post Graduate Certificate in Perioperative Nursing highly desirable or working towards.
  • Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to operate both in a team environment and autonomously.
