Perioperative Theatre Nurse

North West Private Hospital is seeking a dedicated and adaptable Registered Nurse to join our perioperative team on a permanent part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a focus on patient-centred care, technical skill, and a compassionate approach.
This role offers the chance to work with a multidisciplinary team, providing high-quality clinical care and exceptional service to patients and their families. Key responsibilities include preparing instrumentation and consumables for surgical procedures, ensuring smooth and efficient operating theatre lists, delivering evidence-based care to patients, and collaborating closely with surgeons, anaesthetists, and theatre team.
About You
You are a registered nurse who thrives in a fast-paced theatre environment. With a minimum of 3 years' post-graduate nursing experience in theatre preferred, you bring a combination of technical skill and a compassionate approach to every interaction.

- Key Requirements:
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum 3 years' post-graduate nursing experience in theatre preferred
- Experience in Scrub/Scout, Anaesthetics, or PACU highly regarded
- Strong assessment, planning, coordination, and evaluation skills
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and organisational abilities
