Theatre Scrub Nurse Position

As a key member of our healthcare team, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Theatre Scrub Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a world-class facility.

This role involves delivering evidence-based nursing care, ensuring patient and staff safety, and supervising nursing team members. You will also be responsible for delivering education and support to individuals/patients, promoting their health recovery, rehabilitation, or end-of-life needs.

To succeed in this position, you must have current registration with AHPRA, a minimum of 2 years recent clinical practice in a Theatre environment, and a Post Graduate Certificate in Theatre/Scrub/Scout (or working towards). Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential, as well as the ability to work well independently or within a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with established standards and protocols
  • Liaise with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to regulatory requirements
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet unique patient needs
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance overall patient experience

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Current Registration with AHPRA
