We are seeking an experienced Business Superannuation Consultant to take on a challenging role in Melbourne. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and developing our existing client base with both employers and members directly.
The position involves travel covering metropolitan Melbourne as well as regional Victoria and Tasmania. Occasional interstate travel for business development and attendance at conferences is required.
Key responsibilities include:
- Establishing new business relationships with national agency networks located in VIC & TAS and state-based agency networks and independent agencies based in VIC & TAS.
- Building on existing member and employer relationships.
- Nurturing our existing relationship with the Real Estate Institute of Victoria and the Real Estate Institute of Tasmania.
- Expanding our membership and employer base.
- Growing our funds under management.
- Working closely with both employers and members directly.
- Referring clients to our financial planners.
Requirements:
- RG146 compliant qualification.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in the financial services industry or 5 years in the real estate industry.
- Demonstrated experience in B2B business development and relationship management.
- Ability to build and maintain effective business relationships.
- Excellent diary management skills.
- Capacity to work independently but as part of a national team.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proven experience in opportunity lead generation through to conversion.
- Tertiary qualification in a science, economics or business-related discipline.
