As a Senior Cloud Engineer – Azure, you will be responsible for designing, building and coding robust solutions using both Azure and Terraform. This role spans both Azure App Services and Infrastructure, requiring you to develop and maintain automation through build and deployment tooling.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Azure and DevOps, as well as skills across Azure App Services and broad Infrastructure capabilities across Azure AD. Proficiency with Terraform and Iaas & Paas focus is also essential. Solid scripting skills, ideally Shell, are required, along with excellent stakeholder engagement skills.

We offer a competitive salary of AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per annum, plus additional benefits including flexible working arrangements and opportunities for career growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cloud-based solutions using Azure
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using Terraform
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in cloud engineering
  • Strong understanding of Azure services and DevOps practices
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
