Our Store Designer will oversee the design process for retail fit-outs across Sunglass Hut, OPSM, Laubman & Pank, and Oakley, coordinating with both internal and external stakeholders. This role requires the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment, handling store development projects in Australia and New Zealand.

The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of each of our retail brands (brand identity, operations and merchandise) as they relate to the store design. They will create local design standards documents based on global design concepts and partner with our global design team in Italy to ensure store designs meet Australian standards and local project criteria.

Key responsibilities include developing strong relationships with internal stakeholders, overseeing timely completion of projects, and producing preliminary feasibility floorplans. The candidate will also manage the engagement of external documenters and produce construction level documentation packs for minor works projects.

Requirements for success include a tertiary qualification in Interior Design, Architecture, or equivalent, and 3+ years' experience in retail design. A thorough knowledge of Australian Building Code and Standards is also essential, as is proficiency in AutoCAD. Adobe Creative Suite experience is beneficial, as is excellent communication and people management skills.
