BESIX Watpac is a leading Australian construction company with over four decades of experience and a global presence spanning 25 countries. Our success can be attributed to our commitment to delivering complex projects across various sectors, including building and infrastructure.
Our two-year Graduate program offers students who have graduated or are currently completing their final semester of Engineering a unique opportunity for structured learning and exposure within four key foundations of project delivery: Pre-contracts & Estimating, Design Coordination, Commercial, and Site-based Engineering.
You will be embedded into project development teams, working on landmark projects such as the Townsville University Hospital Expansion. Throughout this journey, you will receive ongoing mentoring and support from industry experts, enabling you to develop your skills and build effective relationships at all levels of the business.
To succeed in this role, you should possess tertiary qualifications or equivalent in an Engineering-related subject (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical) and/or Construction-related subject. Strong communication, influence, and relationship-building skills are essential, along with the ability to operate autonomously using initiative, sound reasoning, listening, and decision-making skills.
This role comes with a competitive remuneration package, offering long-term career development opportunities. As a valued member of our team, you will enjoy benefits such as wellbeing days, flexible work arrangements, awards and recognition programs, access to wellbeing programs, corporate discounts, and social events. At BESIX Watpac, we strive to create a workplace where everyone feels valued, supported, and respected, regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, education, or appearance.
We recognize the traditional custodians of the land on which we live and work, acknowledging the Elders past, present, and emerging.
The estimated salary for this position is around $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on location and experience. If you're passionate about delivering once-in-a-generation projects and believe you would thrive in our dynamic environment, we encourage you to apply.
