Business Continuity Leadership Role

The Business Continuity Manager will provide strategic oversight and expert guidance to ensure organisational resilience and the continuity of critical services during adverse events.

  • Develop and maintain risk-based business continuity plans in alignment with relevant standards.
  • Provide high-level coordination and strategic support to the Crisis Incident Management Team during critical incidents and emergencies.
  • Oversee the review, validation, and testing of University-wide and local area Business Continuity Plans.
  • Conduct enterprise-wide Business Impact Analyses to assess key functions and identify interdependencies.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications and proven experience in leading business continuity frameworks within a complex organisation.
  • Demonstrated capability to lead institutional responses to crises and high-risk incidents.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to conduct thorough Business Impact Assessments.
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills, with a track record of building trusted relationships across academic and professional groups.
