Job Overview:

This role entails delivering comprehensive training and assessment programs to employees and contractors, ensuring alignment with relevant industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement customized training solutions for Certificate IV in train driving in dedicated train driving schools, covering critical topics such as Safeworking, Shunting, and Train examination
  • Design and deliver Engine & Airbrake Training Schools, incorporating the latest technologies to enhance learner engagement
  • Utilize Virtual Reality tools to create immersive and safe training environments
  • Collaborate with operations teams on on-job assessments as needed
  • Provide coaching and support to rail operations trainees in-field, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development
  • Determine individualized training needs of drivers to identify opportunities for process enhancement and optimize training effectiveness
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Certificate IV in Train Driving or equivalent qualification
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or willingness to undertake the qualification)
  • Significant experience in rail industry training
