Job Description

We are seeking an Infrastructure Engineering Specialist to join our multidisciplinary water team in Newcastle. The successful candidate will have experience in designing engineering solutions for water and wastewater treatment plants, reservoirs, hydraulic structures, pump stations and conveyance pipelines.

This role involves building strong relationships with clients, understanding their core business and providing tailored solutions and services. You will work collaboratively across a multidisciplinary team and have opportunities for professional growth and development.

About the Role

  • Designing and developing infrastructure projects for water and wastewater treatment plants, reservoirs and other hydraulic structures
  • Collaborating with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions
  • Working closely with the project team to deliver high-quality results on time and within budget
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry developments and best practices
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in civil (structural) engineering
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in water and wastewater treatment and/or conveyance design
  • Knowledge of safety in design, constructability and operational practices, and risk management
  • Experience managing small to medium engineering design projects
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate across a multidisciplinary team
