Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at Nepean Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about ensuring the safety and security of staff, patients, and visitors.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment, responding to incidents, and providing excellent customer service.

This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Certificate 2 in Security Operations with a current NSW Security Licence class 1A
  • Effective experience working in a similar role
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all levels of managers, staff, and diverse range of patients and members of the public
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Practical knowledge of security equipment including CCTV operations and access control systems
