Job Details

MSS Security is seeking a qualified Aviation Protection Officer to provide security services at Tamworth airport.

About the Role

The selected candidate will be responsible for providing security presence and performing passenger and baggage screening services. They must have excellent communication skills, ability to work in a team environment and maintain high standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Screen passengers and their checked baggage
  • Manage traffic flow and screen at security checkpoints within the airport
  • Offer exceptional customer service and respond professionally to customers and internal stakeholders
  • Maintain and follow all compliance procedures and safety measures
Requirements
  • Certificate II in Transport Security Protection (free paid training available)
  • Full working rights in Australia
  • Ability to successfully pass Drug & Alcohol screening
  • Ability to obtain an ASIC Clearance (funded by MSS Security)
  • Customer service experience with high attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
