Workforce Manager
About the Job:- Manage the Clinical Medical Workforce to ensure a sustainable, safe, and reliable workforce at Macquarie University Hospital.
- Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, training, rostering, monitoring, reporting, and development of the CMO workforce.
- Work closely with Director of Clinical Training, MQ Health Clinicians, and Clinical Leadership to achieve workforce goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit, onboard, and retain a reliable, manageable, and sustainable CMO workforce.
- Support the Clinical Workforce staff and Deputy Director of Medical Services in achieving workforce goals.
- Manage CMO costing and staffing issues to maintain a sustainable workforce.
- Investigate incidents related to CMOs and provide timely reviews.
- Assist in evaluating after-hours workload to ensure safe cover at MUH.
- Support logbook completion and submission by registrars and fellows.
Requirements:
- MBBS or equivalent qualification and registration as a medical practitioner in Australia.
- Active Accredited Practitioner of MUH.
- Demonstrated experience in clinical workforce management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Knowledge of and commitment to continuous improvement, evidence-based practice, and promoting a culture of safety, quality, teamwork, innovation, and best practice.
