Job Title: General ManagerWe're seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our veterinary hospital and GP centre, driving our mission of delivering the highest standards of veterinary care.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the team to ensure clear role responsibilities, a harmonious culture, and staff retention.
- Foster a positive hospital culture based on site values, vision, and mission.
- Develop and implement site strategy and annual plans, focusing on innovation.
- Drive revenue increases while managing expenses within the budget.
- Oversee hospital expenditure, including capex requests and ROI calculations.
- Oversee daily hospital operations, including workflow, business functions, and staffing levels.
- Promote strong referral partner relationships with primary care hospitals, clinics, and surgeries.
- Ensure all necessary licenses are maintained and compliance with regulations.
- Manage records of medicines and adhere to relevant policies.
- Minimum five years' experience in a senior business management role.
- Qualifications in business management or human resource management.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a large cohort of people, including employee relations, workforce planning, change management, and conflict resolution.
- Adept at change management (both personal and as a leader).
- Strategic-minded with the ability to envision and articulate clear and effective plans.
- Strong financial and accounting acumen.
- Experience in developing and meeting budgets.
- Experience in roster management.
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-directed with strong time management skills.
