Leisure Activities Officer Role Summary

This permanent part-time opportunity involves providing leisure-based activities to support and enhance the lives of residents in a supportive team environment.

You will work closely with the Lifestyle Coordinator to deliver activity programs, encourage participation and identify individual resident needs through assessment.

Your Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Delivering leisure-based activities that promote engagement and well-being among residents.
  • Supporting residents to participate in activities both within and outside of their home setting.
  • Conducting assessments to identify individual resident needs and preferences.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will require a Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or Certificate IV in Leisure and Health. A strong understanding of leisure-based activities and their benefits for older adults is essential, as is excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
