Community Care Specialist

We are seeking dedicated community care specialists to provide exceptional support and assistance to our service users in their daily lives.

As a registered NDIS provider, we offer comprehensive care services to individuals with disabilities and/or ageing in the City of Greater Bendigo.

This is an exciting opportunity for professionals or students studying health-related courses at TAFE or university to gain valuable experience and skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Our community care specialists play a vital role in assisting clients to live independently in their own homes and communities. They perform tasks such as:

  • Providing assistance with self-care activities
  • Supporting clients in the community (appointments & grocery shopping)
  • Developing skills, prompting, and motivating clients
  • Offering domestic assistance

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • A minimum Cert III in Aged Care/Individual Support or Cert IV in Disability Support
  • A current COVID-19 vaccine and flu shot
  • A Level 2 First Aid Certificate and CPR
  • A recent and clear National Police Check
  • A Working with Children Check
  • An NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • A roadworthy vehicle and Australian driver's licence
