IT Risk and Governance Specialist

This role plays a critical part in ensuring the IT business environment operates with operational excellence and delivers services that meet regulatory and organizational requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Implement IT governance and compliance processes across IT services
- Design and operating effectiveness testing for defined IT controls
- Conduct control assurance to identify control gaps and recommend solutions
- Contribute to the development, review, and operationalization of IT processes
- Document the control evaluation process, including methodology, testing results, and identified deficiencies
- Communicate issues and control gaps to stakeholders
- Compile reports on internal control effectiveness, including weaknesses and recommended improvements
- Highlight critical issues and their potential impact on the organization
- Enhance the control evaluation process using feedback
- Implement best practices and lessons learned to improve the control environment
- Periodic reporting on IT Risk and Control Testing
- Three or more years of experience in IT Risk, Compliance
- Detailed understanding of governance and risk management
- Proficient in Microsoft tools like SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Positive attitude and excellent team player
- Experience in a role balanced between business stakeholders and a central technology service organization
- Strong understanding of information security controls and ISMS standards
- Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders
- Education Level: Graduate Degree or equivalent work experience in Information Technology or an equivalent engineering discipline
- Certifications, such as CISSP, CRISC, CISA, CIPP, CISM, are well regarded

- Ability to instill confidence in the business and demonstrate business value
- Ability to manage senior stakeholders and build effective relationships
