Key Responsibilities- Equipment Maintenance: Perform planned preventative maintenance on a wide range of equipment, including material handling systems, automation equipment, and conveyor systems.
- Fault Finding and Repair: Investigate and resolve equipment faults in a timely and efficient manner, minimizing downtime and ensuring business continuity.
- Health and Safety: Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety protocols and procedures, and reporting any hazards or incidents.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration, and provide technical support and guidance as needed.
- Qualifications: Certificate III in Electrotechnology or equivalent, with current electrical trade license or Certificate III in Engineering/Mechanical Trade (Fitter/Turner).
- Experience: Planned preventative maintenance systems, fault finding, and equipment maintenance in an industrial environment.
- Skills: Ability to read and understand electrical/mechanical drawings, experience with computer maintenance systems (CMMS), and knowledge of sortation machines.
