Key Role Overview

Casual Registered Nurse Position in a Multidisciplinary Setting

This role provides an excellent opportunity for individuals to deliver high-quality patient-centered care as part of a dynamic team. The position requires a skilled and dedicated professional with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and patients to achieve optimal outcomes.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • To provide person-centered nursing care that is safe, effective, and compassionate, working in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver quality patient care.
  • To supervise and support less experienced clinicians to ensure they are equipped to deliver high-quality person-focused care.
  • Selection Criteria:
    • A current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
    • Demonstrated competencies and knowledge of nursing care in a multidisciplinary context.
    • Effective clinical communication through information technology, written, and verbal means, and sound interpersonal skills.
    • The application of evidence-based practice and critical thinking to advocate for and implement person-centered care with a commitment to quality improvement.
    • An ability to supervise, delegate, and negotiate with others to deliver quality nursing care, with willingness to show leadership and embrace change in coordination and delivery of care.
    • Recent clinical experience relevant to the position, including evidence of participation in professional development and maintenance of competence.
    • An ability to prioritise and organise workload and deliver care with integrity and accountability.

Essential Requirements:

  • Australian Work Rights: Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident, or otherwise legally able to live and work in Australia.
