About the Opportunity

RMIT University is seeking an experienced and skilled Academic Services Officer to join its dynamic team within the College of Design and Social Context. This fixed-term opportunity covers a staff member on leave, offering a chance to make a real impact in a fast-paced admin role.

As an Academic Services Officer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to programs within the School, leveraging your strong customer service skills to deliver high-quality services to students. You will collaborate closely with academic and professional staff to ensure seamless operations and efficient delivery of academic programs.

This role requires a demonstrated experience in quality academic administrative services, organisational and problem-solving skills, and ability to work effectively as part of a team. Excellent communication skills and computer literacy are essential, including knowledge and experience with university systems.

The successful candidate will have a high level of initiative and independence, with the ability to work with limited direction. Appointment to this position is subject to passing a Working with Children and National Police Check.
