The Australian Institute of Health and Welfare (AIHW) is Australia's authoritative source of health and welfare data and analysis.
As an independent national information and statistics agency, AIHW publishes more than 400 data products each year. The executive director will lead a division with three groups: Primary and Community Care & Information Standards Group, Health Systems & Performance Group, and Population Health Group.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the strategic direction of a division comprising multiple teams, focusing on health and welfare issues affecting Australians.
- Develop and provide valuable insights into key health and welfare matters through data management, analytical, reporting, and statistical functions.
To excel in this role, you must have experience leading data management, analytics, reporting, and/or statistical functions and possess a solid understanding of the Australian health and welfare landscape.

- Critical thinking, intellectual rigor, and excellent communication skills for effective collaboration.
- Able to build relationships across various sectors to drive collaborative outcomes.
