We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cook to join our kitchen team at the Courthouse Hotel in Tamworth. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality food to meet the expectations of our discerning customers.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook food to the highest standards, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish.
- Work efficiently and effectively as part of a fast-paced kitchen team, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Collaborate with our Head Chef to develop innovative menus and ensure that all dishes meet our high standards.
- Manage food inventory, including ordering and storing ingredients, and maintaining accurate records.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.
- Certificate 3 in Commercial Cookery or Hospitality, or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Cook in a busy kitchen environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a professional attitude and good manners.
