We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Communications Therapist to join our dynamic team at a leading healthcare organization in Australia. As a Speech Pathologist, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments, developing personalized therapy plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions to improve clients' communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Comprehensive Assessments: Perform detailed assessments of clients' speech, language, communication, and swallowing abilities to identify areas of need and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Develop Personalized Therapy Plans: Create tailored therapy plans that address individual client goals and needs, incorporating evidence-based practices and techniques.
  • Implement Evidence-Based Interventions: Implement therapeutic interventions that promote effective communication, including augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) strategies, to enhance clients' quality of life.
  • Collaborate with Clients and Caregivers: Work closely with families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care and support, promoting seamless communication and coordination.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Ensure accurate and confidential record-keeping in compliance with industry standards, maintaining up-to-date client files and records.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree: Hold a recognized degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Registration and Experience: Be registered with Speech Pathology Australia and possess a minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience in speech pathology.
  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Compassionate Approach: Possess a compassionate approach, prioritizing client-centered care and a strong focus on improving clients' communication abilities.
