Speech and Language Consultant

We are seeking a seasoned Speech and Language Pathologist to leverage their expertise in a dynamic consulting role.

This is an opportunity to transition into a fulfilling position that extends beyond traditional therapy as a Speech and Language Consultant.

As a Telehealth Speech and Language Consultant, you will advise clients on best practices for speech and language development, collaborate with educators, professionals, and parents, and design tailored early development plans.

  • Conduct telehealth interviews and develop assessment plans for new clients.
  • Assess, screen, and prevent speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
  • Oversee and create intervention plans for clients to implement at home, school, or in the center with therapy assistants.
  • Organize clients into groups and parent education seminars.
  • Manage cases ensuring multidisciplinary team collaboration on six-month early intervention plans.
  • Secure client commitment, schedule appointments, and convert intakes into ongoing services.
  • Run webinars and online seminars as needed.
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members.
  • Conduct telehealth parent consultations.
  • Complete reports including home programs, progress, and assessments.
  • Ensure high-quality, evidence-based, ethical care.
  • Set goals, plan, and implement personalized intervention strategies.
  • Develop goals with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Manage weekly schedules to meet KPIs.
  • Create plans for therapy assistants and home programs.
  • Conduct parent education sessions.
  • Contribute expertise to the multidisciplinary team and provide in-services.
  • Administer clinical assessments.
  • Promote early development and parent support services.
  • Engage in weekly supervision and professional development.
