Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator to join our team in delivering key objectives. The successful candidate will design, implement and provide operational support for database services infrastructure, contributing to meaningful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

">
  • Configure, monitor and maintain SQL Server databases, including performance tuning, indexing and query optimisation.">
  • Implement access controls, encryption and audit trails to ensure data security and compliance with legislation.">
  • Create and manage backup schedules, ensuring reliable data recovery and regularly testing restore procedures.">
  • Write, debug and optimise SQL queries using performance tuning and monitoring tools.">
  • Analyse complex issues and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.">

Required Skills and Qualifications

">

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SQL database design, SSAS, SSIS and proficiency in programming languages and frameworks such as C#, Python, R and SQL.

">

A degree or relevant certification in IT, Computer Science or Data Management is highly desirable, along with excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail and effective communication skills.
