Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to join our Maternal and Child Health team as an administrative support officer.

This is a part-time role that involves providing high-level administrative support to the Maternal and Child Health services, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle personal data and internal communications with discretion.
  • Develop proficiency in using CDIS software, including calendars, appointments, group processes, and reporting.
  • Manage incoming birth notifications, input data into the CDIS system, and arrange first five appointments.
  • Handle incoming calls with effective communication and follow-up as required.
  • Source and distribute health information, library books, and pamphlets for centers; prepare fact-sheets, home visiting forms, information, and health packs for parents.
  • Prepare venues for parent group meetings and maintain Maternal and Child Health information on the Council website.
  • Provide technical support to nurses in using electronic record management systems (Content Manager) and Windows-based programs.
  • Prepare agendas and minutes at meetings as required; undertake general administrative activities.
About You
  • Demonstrated administration experience in an office environment.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to be responsive and flexible to work demands.
  • Demonstrated initiative, innovation, and continual improvement of processes and projects.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent computer skills and experience producing and publishing documents in printed and electronic formats.
  • Current Working with Children Check.
  • Current Victorian Driver's Licence.
Benefits

The salary range for this position is $34.02 to $35.84 per hour plus superannuation benefits.
