Embedded Systems Professional

We're seeking a talented Embedded Systems Professional to join our team. As an integral part of our organization, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the future of our products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, integrate, and validate electronics and firmware with precision and attention to detail.
  • Develop clear, well-tested code and PCB layouts that are easily maintainable and scalable.
  • Create user-space applications and ROS drivers for sensors on ARM-based Linux platforms, pushing the boundaries of innovation.
  • Evaluate industry best practices, safety, and regulatory compliance throughout development to ensure a high level of quality.
  • Establish and execute verification test plans, analyze data, and confirm requirements to guarantee successful product delivery.
  • Promote continuous improvement in standards, tooling, and automation, driving efficiency and excellence within our team.
  • Translate product requirements into concrete technical specifications, tasks, and schedules, fostering effective project planning.
  • Conduct design reviews, risk assessments, failure mode analysis, and mitigating issues early to minimize potential problems.
  • Mentor junior engineers in developing best practices and foster knowledge sharing to drive collective growth and expertise.
  • Provide regular progress updates through Jira boards, stand-ups, and concise stakeholder reports, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3-5 years experience shipping embedded products with a proven track record of success.
  • A degree in embedded systems, electronics, mechatronics, or a related field is essential.
  • A strong grasp of digital and mixed-signal design, PCB layout, and bring-up is critical for this role.
  • Proficiency in C/C++ and familiarity with Python are necessary skills for this position.
  • Bonus: experience with robotics, LiDAR, SLAM, or autonomous systems is highly desirable but not mandatory.
